St John’s is a friendly church which holds a significant place within our village community.

The ethos of St John’s is to be a welcoming and inclusive church. We work to make sure that everyone who comes along to our services is greeted at the door and has the opportunity to meet people after the service. Our intention is that people will be able to feel at home here.

We seek to build a church that cares. We have an excellent pastoral care team that visits and supports vulnerable members of our congregation. We offer prayer for healing through the church, every month at one of the morning services and at special healing services. We want St John’s to be a place where people are accepted, feel they can belong, and can flourish.

The church holds a significant place within the life of the village. We have strong links with the local community and with Hugglescote Community Primary School.

The impressive and high-quality church building is Victorian, it was built in 1878 and is a local landmark. It is very popular for weddings and baptisms.

Please come along and join us for one of our services.
